Couples Counselling

Helping Partners Reconnect - Virtually Across Alberta & BC

Every relationship goes through hard seasons. Whether you're caught in the same argument on repeat, feeling emotionally distant, or rebuilding after something that broke trust - it can feel like you're losing each other. Online couples counselling in Calgary and across Alberta and BC offers both partners a neutral, supported space to slow down, actually hear each other, and start moving in the same direction again.

How Couples Counselling Can Help

Couples counselling isn't about taking sides. It's about helping both of you understand what's happening beneath the conflict - and developing healthier ways of responding to each other.

Together, we can work to:

  • Improve communication and understanding

  • Strengthen emotional connection

  • Navigate conflict more effectively

  • Rebuild trust and repair relationship wounds

  • Address recurring patterns that create distance

  • Develop healthier ways of responding to challenges together

  • Strengthen problem-solving and teamwork within the relationship

  • Process significant life changes as a team

  • Decide together on the future of your relationship with clarity

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, balanced, and focused on creating a safe environment where both partners feel heard, understood, and respected.

I primarily draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps couples better understand the emotions and interaction patterns that may be contributing to conflict, distance, or disconnection. By identifying these patterns, couples can develop healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another's needs.

I also incorporate Gottman-informed strategies to help strengthen communication, manage conflict more effectively, and build on the strengths that already exist within the relationship.

Together, we will work toward improving communication, strengthening emotional connection, and creating a healthier, more secure relationship.

Couples counselling sessions are available virtually, making it easy to attend together from the comfort of your own home - wherever you are in Alberta or BC.
